Landforms cuts across geography and the human body in eleven brief, surprising poems. Leigh Nash’s tendency towards concision was evident in her last chapbook,  five-seven-five: train poems (The Emergency Response Unit, 2008). While the poems here stand on their own, they can be equally read in sequence and point toward Leigh’s efficient control over longer works. The book is drawn from her first full-length manuscript, Goodbye, Ukulele, forthcoming from Mansfield Press this Fall.
