Beth Follett will be giving two readings in Ontario in the next two weeks, each with copies of A Thinking Woman Sleeps With Monsters available for purchase.
First, on Sunday June 15 at 2pm, Beth will be reading at the Book Shop in Tamworth, Ontario (inside the red brick coach house located at the foot of Peel Street and Bridge Street East). Stan Dragland is also on the bill and will be reading works by Joanne Page. All are welcome. Light refreshments will be served. Reading will be held either inside shop or outside in shaded area, depending on weather. Please bring a chair or blanket if desired. Second, on Saturday June 21 at 12:30pm, Beth will be reading with Stan Dragland and Robert Hogg at the North Grenville Public Library (1 Water Street, Kemptville).
Ben Ladouceur, author of the recent Apt. 9 title Poem About The Train, recently saw the public release of his new web series, Other Men. Ben is the show’s writer. We’re all tremendously excited to see where the series goes from here. You should give it a watch here or below.
And finally, the recent Ottawa Small Press Book Fair was a great success and a very fun day. Liana Voia, as she has done before, performed a series of interviews with all of the tables at the fair. You can watch the Apt. 9 video below, including a short reading of a poem by Nelson Ball from Minutiae at the end (performed by me, not Nelson). Thanks, Liana!
